May
In May, we attended the Wayne County Health & Wellness Fair at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.

October
United We Stand was featured on Channel 13 WHAM for our ongoing efforts to support individuals experiencing homelessness in Wayne County. During our recent Homeless Outreach Event, volunteers canvassed both Lyons and Newark—4 volunteers in each village from 4–6 PM, with an additional team of 2 continuing in Lyons from 7:30–9 PM. In Lyons, we connected with 6 individuals experiencing homelessness (3 during the day and 3 at night), including 5 temporarily staying with others without access to basic necessities and 1 living on the streets. We also located 3 unmanned shelters and spoke with 6 community members who helped us gather valuable information. In Newark, no individuals were found to be unsheltered, though 1 shelter was identified. We are deeply grateful to our volunteers and community partners for their continued support and commitment to ensuring every individual in Wayne County has access to safety, dignity, and care.
